Controversial Nigerian social commentator, VeryDarkMan, has sparked reactions online after revealing that he was recently contacted by the Department of State Services (DSS) over allegations linking him to a planned protest.
According to him, the agency claimed he had been recruited by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to mobilize protests that could cause unrest, allegedly targeting institutions like INEC and the ruling APC.
Reacting, VeryDarkMan strongly denied the claims, making it clear that he is not affiliated with any political party. He stressed that he does not support the ADC, APC, or PDP, and has no plans to organize any protest.
He also spoke against the growing involvement of celebrities in politics, stating that Nigerians should be able to make their own decisions without being influenced by public figures.
Speaking further, he addressed the current state of the country, especially insecurity, and criticized the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. According to him, leaders must always be held accountable, regardless of who is in power.
In his words, he expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation and stated that, in his opinion, Tinubu should no longer remain president.
The statement has since generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing their views.

This actually is a very big work to do, not just by work but action, normally is not easy for a president in Nigeria to step down or to impeach.
